The concert includes Aaron Copland's timeless Variations on a Shaker Theme, and a piece inspired by Aaron Copland, the Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Joan Tower. Also, a tribute to the Windy City by New Orleans native Edmond Dédé and Sousa's perennial favorite Stars and Stripes Forever.
